1. Who we are
M&M Bathroom (“we”, “us”) is a bathroom design, supply and fitting business based in Liverpool. We are the controller of the personal data collected through this website, which means we decide how and why it is used.
- Email: panmichalformela@gmail.com
- Phone: 07782 723897
2. What information we collect
When you send an enquiry through our form we receive your name, phone number, email address, postcode, the type of project, your message and the box you tick to send the form. If you email or phone us we keep the details you give us. Our hosting provider also records technical information such as your IP address in server logs for security. Please do not include sensitive information, such as health details, in your message.
3. How and why we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote. This is to take steps at your request before entering a contract, and it is in our legitimate interests to answer people who contact us.
- To arrange and carry out the work if you go ahead. This is necessary for our contract with you.
- To keep records, accounts and tax information. This is a legal obligation.
- To keep the website secure and to prevent spam. This is in our legitimate interests.
We do not use your details for marketing, and we do not make decisions about you using automated processing.
4. Who we share it with
We use service providers to run the website and the business: Netlify, which hosts the website and receives the enquiry form submissions, and our email provider. If you go ahead with a project we may share the details needed with suppliers or people who help carry out the work. We do not sell your information. We may disclose it if the law requires us to.
5. Transfers outside the UK
Some of our providers may process information outside the UK, for example in the United States. Where this happens we rely on the safeguards that UK data protection law requires.
6. How long we keep it
If an enquiry does not lead to work, we keep it for up to 12 months and then delete it. If you become a customer, we keep project, guarantee and accounting records for as long as we need them for the guarantee and the law, usually up to six years, and then delete or anonymise them.
7. Cookies
This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking tools.
8. Your rights
You have the right to ask us for a copy of your personal data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict how we use it, to receive it in a portable format, and to object to our use of it where we rely on legitimate interests. To use any of these rights, contact us using the details above. We will reply within one month.
9. Complaints
If you are unhappy about how we have handled your personal data, please tell us first and we will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days and let you know the outcome. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
10. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, and the website is served over HTTPS. No method of sending or storing data is completely secure.
11. Children
This website is meant for adults and homeowners and is not aimed at children.
12. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update this page and the date at the top.
